I recently returned from Florida where we
(some of the girls from Bright Lights) helped
lead three Christian Conferences. It was a long
trip but was totally worth all the work. The conferences
went really well and God used it to touch many lives.
It wasn't all work though, we managed to have a lot of
fun as well. Including, going to the beach on both
sides of Florida. It was great swimming in the ocean!!!

Dani and I. The crazy woman who talked me
into swimming when it as sooooooo cold out!!!
Thanks Dani!!! I had a blast!

Right before we made the plunge. (Trying to
appear strong.) Boy, was it cold until you got used
to it! But after that it was a

Wow, it's actually a picture where
I'm not messing around or making a fool out
of myself:)

While we were there we had the chance to
stay at an orphanage for three days and nights.
It was a really good experience for me. It was so kind of the
Lord to let me go.
This is the view from the room that we
were staying in. Beautiful, isn't it?!

I made some friends while I was there at
the orphanage. The little boy on my right was
my special little friend. He is ten years old and
had only been there for a short amount
of time. I'd tell you his name, but I can hardly say it
right, let alone spell it:)
Sometimes, if the kids didn't know my name, they would
get my attention by calling out "Hello, Hello" the little boy
on my left did that quite a bit:)

Lois and I overlooking Burma

One day we visited the boarder of Thailand and Burma.
The two boys in the picture above are on the Burma side and the
plastic bags in their hands have glue in them. Glue is a cheap way
for them to get high and I would guess it's also helpful in forgetting their

Please pray for the children at the orphanage that they would
be given the care and love they need and that God would raise
up people who will love the way Jesus wants.
Also, pray that the founder would believe in Jesus as his savior.

I recently went to Thailand where I experienced
lot's of new things! One of these, included eating fried worms!!!
YUMMY! (it was sort of like a greasy french fry.)

One of the things that I did was help my friend
teach English. One of the first days I was there
she took me to see the school that she teaches at.

No, you're eyes aren't fooling you. That's
really public drinking water. Lois and Lydia are posing
for me in the Princess Mother's Gardens. (Which is the
King's mother.)

I really enjoyed my stay with such a wonderful
family. Many thanks and blessings to the Fongs!
I love you guys.
